Challenges
The company reached out to Solvve to optimize their Odoo ERP settings, driven by the unique requirements of their operations. With a complex workflow and many manual processes, efficiency was a challenge. Operating across two countries, they had to navigate different legislations, currencies, and accounting standards, further complicating matters and increasing manual workload. As a result, processes within the company were slow. Solvve was tasked with automating processes to the fullest extent possible, reducing the need for manual work.
Solution
In line with the task, Solvve enlisted skilled business analysts to assess the current state of Exxentric's business processes and devise an optimal plan for improvement. This resulted in the automation of several company transactions, reducing manual tasks, streamlining document creation and editing, and minimizing potential errors.
Furthermore, a comprehensive long-term plan was created to enhance Odoo ERP setup, considering the complexities of operating in diverse international markets, managing numerous processes, and anticipating the company's potential expansion. Solvve assisted Exxentric in aligning its operations with the logic of Odoo.
To achieve this result, the following steps were taken:
Configured the Odoo interface based on customer requests and tailored it to the specific needs of the company.
Developed integration with WooCommerce, creating a unified system for different countries and establishing consistent rules for creating price lists, importing customers, and managing sales orders. Also, implemented configuration for automating fiscal position determination (for both B2B and B2C partners).
Set up online payment options via Invoice, Stripe, and Split It, offering customers installment payment choices.
Implemented a standardized process for approving supplier invoices with customized messages based on customer categories across all company locations.
Integrated BigQuery, simplifying the transfer of sales data for comprehensive reporting.
Implemented predictive sales functionality based on analytical data from previous years.
Enhanced the functionality of the multi-campaign transactions module, enabling multiple companies to operate within Odoo ERP.
Customized main reports for accounting and management, including P&L reporting (General Ledger, Introstat). The data display structure and formatting have also been improved to facilitate data visualization, considering the specific needs of the company.
Additionally, we are currently integrating Odoo with delivery services such as DHL, FedEx, and the recently implemented Link Logistics.
