LedPax is the Canadian LED lighting manufacturer and distributor company.
The Challenges
The Canadian LED lighting manufacturer and distributor company LedPax needed modernization in ERP systems because the current one was not able to keep pace with the latest tech and growing business needs.
Besides, the previous contractor was far from expected. Therefore, LedPax executives decided to collaborate with SOLVVE for setting up and adjusting an up-to-date business system.
Solution
SOLVVE migrated LedPax's business processes to the latest version of Odoo and completed the unfinished work left by the previous contractor, resulting in a fully functional system with all internal structures in place. Following an analysis of the company's current processes, the SOLVVE team proposed a number of improvements.
The previous system lacked an inventory management tool, and warehouse staff had no access to stock levels. SOLVVE built a custom Odoo module so that warehouse employees and sales departments could collaborate seamlessly within a single system. In addition, a separate custom module was developed to handle "dynamic" orders - previously tracked in Excel - eliminating the need for third-party tools and ensuring all information is stored in one place with a higher level of security.
The ERP system has received positive feedback from internal stakeholders. SOLVVE’s turnaround times have also been greatly commended. Thanks to their work, the company now has more time to generate business. Their project management has also been excellent, and they provide unique ideas to the firm.

Continued Partnership
Migration to Odoo 16 (2023)
In 2023, SOLVVE migrated the LedPax system to Odoo 16 - first to the Community edition, then directly to Enterprise. This version is considered one of the most stable and optimal in terms of performance. In late 2025, a transition to the latest Odoo 19 was considered due to changes in Odoo's pricing policy; however, the client made a business decision to remain on version 16 with a corresponding cost adjustment in line with the new pricing policy.
New Enterprise Capabilities
The move to the Enterprise edition unlocked new platform features. Customizations were implemented for document management within the Documents module, and the Avatax module was adapted for correct tax handling.
CRM & Agent Management
To meet the needs of the sales team, the CRM module was modified - agency and agent management functionality was introduced.
AIA Progress Billing
An AIA Progress Billing module was developed - the North American standard for companies operating in the construction industry.
Multi-Company Environment
To support the client's multiple entities within a single Odoo database, product and contact management was adapted for a multi-company environment for one of the group's companies.
Product Configurator
The process of creating a new variant option directly from the product configurator in the Sales module was adapted to work during Sale Order editing.
Commercial Invoice
A Commercial Invoice was created to support the purchasing process.
Forecasting for Multi-Warehouses
Forecasting processes were improved for a multi-warehouse environment consolidated under a single shared virtual company warehouse.
Comprehensive System Improvements
A series of enhancements were made across the Sales, Purchase, Accounting, and Inventory modules. Usability improvements were applied to search functionality and color management in lists and forms. The backup module was upgraded to meet the client's current needs. The notification system in the Sales and Purchase modules was improved for project managers.
Intelligent Automation with n8n
At the next stage of the system's development, SOLVVE implemented an n8n-based solution for LedPax - a low-code platform that allows building workflow logic using visual nodes without writing complex code. This became a natural extension of the Odoo ecosystem, adding an intelligent automation layer on top of it.
Email Processing Workflow
One of the key solutions was an automated workflow for processing incoming email - a critical communication channel for LedPax's procurement and logistics operations.
Email Receipt & Processing
Incoming messages are automatically handled in n8n: text is extracted (including from HTML format), trimmed to the relevant portion, and passed further down the chain with the required parameters.
AI Integration (Gemini)
The workflow is integrated with Google's Gemini AI model to handle non-text content. Images attached to emails - such as screenshots containing tracking numbers - are automatically analyzed: the AI classifies them and extracts the required structured information.
Odoo Integration
Based on the data extracted from the email, n8n searches for the relevant Purchase Orders in Odoo. Depending on what is found, the workflow can perform three types of actions: locate existing records, create new ones, or add log notes (comments to documents).
For example: if an email contains a new delivery date, the workflow automatically updates it in the corresponding Purchase Order in Odoo. If a date had already been set previously, the system leaves a log note with the new information and passes the update decision to the team. This eliminates the risk of accidental data overwriting and keeps the manager in full control.
Conditional Logic
The workflow is built on branching conditional logic: depending on the content of the email (new date, tracking number, voice message, etc.), the system automatically selects the appropriate processing branch and performs the required actions in Odoo without human involvement.
The implementation of n8n allowed LedPax to automate routine incoming correspondence handling, reduce response times to supply chain changes, and minimize manual data entry into Odoo - transforming email from a "black hole" into a fully structured data channel for the ERP.

- Successfully migrated LedPax processes to Odoo 14, followed by an upgrade to the stable Odoo 16 Enterprise - a single control center for all company operations.
